more of Manor House quilt

I am now working on the last block of the main part of the quilt; there are 3 applique motifs on this one, and I have now finished 2 of them.




The 3rd one has branches with loads of leaves, so I am bracing myself......

We had loads of rain yesterday, very good for the garden and our water buts have been replenished.


I think this is a lovely and unusual new addition to our dahlia bed.

    Lovely flowers! The birds are very tiny, or the flowers are big. Anyway they look great together.

    Getting there and it looks wonderful. We need some rain here too; according to the weather forecast we will get some early next week, exactly when we want to go to the mountains for a few day. Oh well, will be taking my sewing along just in case.

    Lovely blocks Radka and the flowers in your garden look beautiful. Well we are on a heatwave warning and also the possibility of forest fires due to the lack of rain! Well that is a new one for us. Planning to heap all my quilts together ready for a quick dash - forget the clothes etc, they can be replaced! I suspect highly unlikely around us but there are plenty of wooded ares around which could suffer. xx
