Happy Easter!

I hope you are all having a nice Easter weekend;
mostly dry and even sunny in my part of the world,
 so welcome after all that rain we have been having.
This morning we even managed to have our coffee siting outside,
enjoying little sunshine.

Spring has arrived in my garden,
so many blossoms opening up
now.

The last few weeks had been so wet,
there was absolutely no incentive to venture too far out.
I used that time to finish all the blocks for Cherry Picker's Garden,

make up final borders,

and put it all together - ready to quilt.

HAPPY EASTER!

It is a glorious weekend here in UK, lots and lots of sunshine.

Our crab apple tree is in full swing.

Little Easter baking - traditional Czech Easter bread (a sort of giant hot cross bun).
As every year, I have made three, one for us and two for our children.

An old "friend" is covering the garden table.

It is very much "stitching in the garden" weather,
and I have just the right project for it,
a crochet cushion cover I started this week.

Enjoy your weekend!

HAPPY EASTER !!!

I hope you are having a nice weekend;
it is very early Easter this year, still cold outside, but warm in my kitchen, with little Easter baking.
Back to my Czech roots -
Velikonoční Mazanec (Easter bread - a giant hot cross bun really).

One for DH and me and two for our children's families.

And little spring around the house at least....

The Four Seasons Quilt has come out of the storage.

                Best wishes to you all!

Easter baking

HAPPY EASTER !

    We are having dry and pleasant weekend, (with little rain at night, which was very welcome by our garden), although not very warm.

I love all those fresh greens in the garden,

quince tree

with flowers buds just about to open

yellow and green shades of fresh shoots of marjoram in the herb bed

crab apple tree blossom just opening up

My Easter baking goes again back to my Czech roots;
I make Easter "mazanec" (sort of giant hot cross bun).

 Actually, I make 3 - one for DH and me, and 2 for our children.

Enjoy rest of the Easter weekend!
