FNwF - not for me

Sorry guys, I did not make it to Cheryll's this time.

I had a flu jab that morning, and by the afternoon I was feeling like I was coming down with the real flu; it had never effected me like this before.
I planned to finish another stitchery for the "Little Patchwork Village" that night, but it was a mug of hot chocolate and early night for me instead.

I spent most of the following day in bed, curled up under my oldest,
well worn quilt, feeling sorry for myself.
This was the first quilt I ever made, and it is still my favourite, like an old friend.

All well now, and I supposed it was better than having the real thing later.

I wish you all a busy stitching week!

  1. Paní Radko, ať Vás patchworková deka dobře hřeje a jste brzo zdráva. Posílám pozdrav za moře. Marie

  2. I had my flu jab last Sunday Radka and woke up three days later with a streaming cold which lasted 48 hours and then disappeared! Never happened to me before either. Glad you are OK now - love the quilt. xx

  3. What a shame that knocked you out like that - but as you say short term and better than the real thing....I think the "formula" changes to combat the latest strains...Love Patchwork Village. Nice to have the comfort of a loved quilt.

  11. I'm sorry you felt so poorly after the jab. I'm having mine tomorrow and hope to recover quickly if it takes me down like that. Such a dear old quilt must be a real comfort.
