I have never visited Great Chalfield Manor either so I shall definitely make a point of going soon. Lovely pictures as always. My knee is now really restricting my mobility so a visit would have to be after my op in late June. The gardens must have been glorious. Thank you for The closeup of the horse chestnut blossom. When I was a child we had one growing very close to the house. It has been my favourite tree ever since.
