Lytes Cary Manor (NT)

Just "up the road" from Tintinhull is Lytes Cary Manor ,
a small medieval manor house, 
surrounded by lovely Arts and Crafts garden.








The most interesting exhibit I found inside is this mirror - 
the frame is covered in stumpwork  embroidery. 
Unfortunately the pictures did not come out well...

    I do so love these old manor houses. This one looks comfortable too. Lots of oohs and aahs for the garden. Spectacular topiary. Wish I could clip that precisely.
